GACC Partnership — Group for Supporting Children with Cancer
Since March 2010, Techduto has been a partner of the GACC in São José dos Campos — one of the greatest sources of pride for our entire team. The GACC is a non-profit civil association that has been providing comprehensive free support to children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment and their families for over 30 years.
What GACC does
The GACC in São José dos Campos acts as a complete support network during cancer treatment, offering:
- Medical and hospital assistance — clinical follow-up, transportation to appointments and exams, medications and surgical materials
- Psychological support — psychological care for patients and families, support groups and emotional follow-up during treatment
- Nutritional assistance — specialized nutritional support for children undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy
- Social assistance — financial aid for vulnerable families, basic food basket, transportation and accommodation for families from other cities
- Recreational and educational activities — toy library, educational and recreational activities that keep children active during treatment
- Support house — shelter for families traveling from afar for treatment in the Vale do Paraíba
Why we are so proud
Childhood cancer is the second leading cause of death in children and adolescents in Brazil. The GACC ensures that no family faces this battle alone — regardless of financial condition. Being part of this support network for over 15 consecutive years is a value that transcends business.
How Techduto contributes
- Fixed monthly contribution — a monthly amount allocated to the institution, ensuring continuous and predictable support for planning activities
- Contributions linked to customer satisfaction — for every customer satisfaction survey responded to after a sale, Techduto makes an additional donation to the GACC. The voice of our customers directly turns into help for those in need
Community Development
In the four cities where we operate, Techduto is an active part of the local community:
- São José dos Campos – SP — headquarters and main manufacturing unit, employing hundreds of direct and indirect collaborators in the Vale do Paraíba
- Recife – PE — factory installed since 2012, generating employment and income in the Northeast and serving regional markets with logistical agility
- Petrolina – PE — strategic distribution center for the São Francisco Valley, supporting regional agribusiness
- Primavera do Leste – MT — unit inaugurated in 2024, bringing manufacturing closer to producers in the Midwest
In each location, we invest in professional training for collaborators, partnerships with technical education institutions, and generating opportunities for young apprentices.
