FAQ
Answers to common questions about Techduto products, standards, and support.
Techduto manufactures corrugated pipes and conduits in HDPE (high-density polyethylene) for agricultural and urban drainage, corrugated conduits according to NBR 15715 for electrical and telecom cable protection, Bidim geotextiles and geocomposites for soil reinforcement, and sealing accessories. The complete line serves agribusiness, infrastructure, renewable energy, and sanitation projects.
Techduto products comply with ABNT NBR 15715 (corrugated HDPE conduits for buried electrical cables — a standard in whose elaboration Techduto participated), ABNT NBR 15073 (HDPE drainage pipes), and DNIT 093/2016 (road drainage). Each product comes with a traceable certificate of conformity.
HDPE offers a service life of over 50 years when buried, is immune to corrosion, roots, and acidic soils (versus 20–30 years for PVC and continuous maintenance for concrete). HDPE is 95% lighter than concrete and 60% lighter than PVC — reducing logistical costs and installation time. Resistant to acids, alkalis, oils, and agricultural products.
The diameter depends on the design flow rate. For agricultural drainage, DN65 to DN150. For storm drains and road works, DN110 to DN250. For cable protection (conduits), DN32 to DN200 according to cable cross-section (practical rule: 40% occupancy of the internal cross-section).
