Techduto History

For over 40 years in the market, Techduto Solutions is a national reference in manufacturing HDPE corrugated pipes for agricultural drainage, cable protection and infrastructure. An engineering born on the factory floor that grew into a multinational platform — with units in SP, PE and MT, and a presence in more than 85 countries through its partnership with the Brandt Group.

1984 – 1993

The Silent Foundation

Industrial corrugating machinery, Techduto foundation 1984

When Saulo Frossard realized there were no Brazilian extruders for the quality standard he wanted, he designed and assembled the first line himself. What began with HDPE recycling and smooth hoses evolved into the first corrugator manufactured in Brazil in 1986, and the patent for the conduit line for civil construction in 1989 — present in virtually all buildings in the country to this day. Process technology already in Techduto's DNA.

The Market Test

Corrugated conduit infrastructure for telecommunications

With the Plano Real in 1994, the market changed. The environment demanded more than survival: it demanded capital and industrial intelligence. Techduto entered new markets — telecommunications, automotive, white goods, hospital. In 1998, over 300 sets of machines were sold to Brazil, Argentina, and Lebanon. In 2003, we launched the first national line of PPR pipes, gradually replacing copper pipes in the country.

  • 1998

The Convergence

Techduto Factory — production of corrugated HDPE pipes in São José dos Campos

Everything that previously existed as accumulated expertise began to take the form of a system. The rebranding from Petech to Techduto unified decades of technology under a strong language. In 2011, FINEP selected Techduto as the technology-based company with the highest growth potential in the country. The expansion to the Northeast — Recife factory (2012) and Petrolina Distribution Center (CD) — expanded territory, speed, and commercial reach.

  • 2007
Techduto and Techdreno are founded Larger dimension corrugated technical pipes — a benchmark in cable protection and drainage.
  • 2008
Tortuga Acquisition Expansion of manufacturing capacity and market access.
  • 2011
Repositioning + FINEP Unified Techduto brand. Indusmack spin-off. Selected by FINEP as a company with the highest potential.
  • 2012

Total Water Control

Subsurface agricultural drainage and photovoltaic plants — Techduto Techdreno

The strategic purpose is clear: to develop efficient solutions for total water control. Techduto has become the main supplier to the largest assemblers of photovoltaic parks in Brazil — with over 1.7 million meters of pipes for the largest photovoltaic plant in Latin America. In 2024, the Primavera do Leste-MT unit brought production closer to farmers in the Midwest. In 2025, the partnership with Grupo Brandt — present in over 85 countries — consolidated Techduto as a multinational platform of Brazilian origin.

  • 2013
Start of agricultural drainage Development of Techdreno — underground solution for soil moisture control.
  • 2016
