How long does it take to install?
Up to 20 km of tubes per day, depending on the terrain conditions. A medium-sized project is completed in a few days.
What is the System's Durability?
More than 60 years. Tubes 100% in HDPE with micro-perforation technology — minimum maintenance throughout its lifespan.
Will the system dry out my soil too much?
No. The Techdreno 360 works like a "water tank overflow drain" — it removes only the excess moisture. We install it at the 80 cm reference depth, preserving the water the plant needs at the depths where the root reaches.
Without a geotextile wrapper, the sand won't clog?
No. The micro-slot technology of the Techdreno KC was developed to let light grains (such as silt) pass through and retain the heavy ones, balancing the water inflow speed to prevent lateral erosion. Validated by a doctoral thesis from UFLA.
Does it work on any type of soil?
Yes — clayey, sandy or mixed. Each project starts with a previous analysis to define the best configuration of depth and spacing.
Do you need continuous maintenance after installation?
No. The Techdreno 360 is a self-cleaning system by design — the natural flow of water removes sediment from the micro-slots, with no need for intervention. The Cuida Techduto program includes preventive inspection in the 1st and 5th year to ensure performance throughout its entire service life (60+ years).
