Landfill

Drainage of leachate, gases and environmental protection with HDPE of high resistance

The Challenge

A sanitary landfills require robust drainage systems for leachate, gases and rainwater. Drainage failures cause environmental contamination, fines and severe operational risks.

Techdreno provides high-chemical-resistance HDPE pipes for leachate drainage and environmental monitoring cable protection. Our products do not corrode, do not degrade with acidic gases and have a lifespan compatible with the long-term operation of landfills.

With experience in environmental sanitation projects throughout Brazil, we offer complete technical specification and logistics for large-scale works.

Challenges and Solutions

How Techduto addresses each challenge in Landfill

Chloride infiltration contaminates soil and water

Techdreno HDPE is lightweight, chemically resistant, and easy to install, creating efficient barriers against the migration of contaminant liquids.

Excessive moisture reduces landfill lifespan

Techdreno HDPE with higher flow rate and simplified maintenance accelerates the removal of liquids, stabilizing the waste.

Emergency repairs and unforeseen costs

HDPE pipes have a lifespan of 50+ years, eliminating periodic replacements and ensuring predictability in CAPEX and OPEX.

Dangerous gases (methane, H2S)

HDPE resists acidic gases without brittleness — safe biogas drainage without risk of leakage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Landfill

Yes. HDPE (high-density polyethylene) has proven chemical resistance against leachate, acids, bases and gases such as methane and H2S. It does not corrode, degrade and maintains structural integrity for more than 25 years.
Leachate drainage collects the leachate from the waste mass and directs it to treatment. Stormwater drainage prevents rainwater from entering the landfill and increasing the leachate volume. Both use HDPE pipes, but with different sizing.
Yes. Our NBR and DW tubes are compatible with the main impermeabilization systems (HDPE, LLDPE) used in sanitary landfills.
Yes. With factories in SP, PE and MT, we attend environmental sanitation projects in all states.
